Setting Sun Clingmans Dome
Wasn't a great deal to shot Saturday afternoon with the sun and the wind, so me and another photographer friend of mine wondered up to the parking area for a sunset. Who do you think we ran into in shorts no less in a steady wind and a wind chill down around 27 deg.? Some of you will know, the rest will have to guess

Are the bright areas over powering the shot?

Nice shot, I like the rays. I don't think the bright area is too bad... a little distracting but not enough to do any harm. I hope you don't post any photos of whoever it was in the shorts!

Yeah, I hope you don't post any images of whoever was wearing the shorts...

The blown areas are not too distracting to me...nothing you can do about them anyway, other than sit back and enjoy another great image!

Gee, from my experience there, I thought it was called Always Foggy Dome.

Great shot, Thomas.

OK, so Richard doesn't have legs like Madonna. Neither do most of us.

What?

Looks great! That bright spot doesn't bother me at all, in this case it really works.

Very srtong image. The bright spot is OK with me. I could see this on one of those inspiration posters. - SandyLee
