Hi , i have a 200-400VR lens mounted on my D300.
There is a slight amount of rotational movement in the lens when it is mounted. i would only say 2 to 3deg.

Is this normal. does anyone else have this ??

move other lens fit tightly.

it doesnt seem to affect taking pictures.

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

Don't worry it's perfectly normal! I have the 200-400mm and have been using it on D300 for a couple days earlier this week! Also had the same on my D2Xs! Think a similar thread/post was posted in either the General Discussions or Digital Imaging - can't remember which now! Hope this helps anyhow!

Phew! Glad I wasn't the only one that worries about that! My 500mm does it all the time, very unnerving!
