I love this time of year as new life is "Springing" up all around us. I recently posted an image very similar to this in the avian forum. You can actually see a little more of the owlet in this image than the one I posted.

Excellent image, Kirk. I like the partial inclusion of the baby. This is a wonderful time to view newborns, and though I've photographed a couple owls lately myself, I have yet to locate any creature with it's offspring.
As I commented on the one you poste in avian, this is really outstanding. The owlet isn't visible enough to add to the image except from an interest standpoint, but that doesn't matter. The pose, background, color, details, etc., are all great. I'm curious, how are you getting these bird's-eye level images?

Beautiful catch, Kirk! You must have been keeping an eye on this owl?

Kirk, this is a great capture! Good eye contact and pose from the bird. Would love to see more of the baby, but you take what you can get alot of times.

I have more images of the owlets alone that show more of them but this is the best I have when either of the adults have been at the nest. The nest is located at eye level when standing on a ledge only 30 yards or so away. I am looking forwarding to watching the owlets grow up over the next month or so before they fledge.
