Hitchin' a Ride
Remember the '70s hit, "Hitchin' a Ride" by Vanity Fare? These two magpies decided to take the song literally this morning in RMNP. Not a compelling or technically astounding shot, just kind of fun and whimsical, I think.

Cant recall the song. Funny shot though, too bad you couldnt get a shot with the snow behind the birds, that wouldve been a prize winner.

Reminds me of oxpeckers on a white rhino I photographed in Kenya a number of years ago.

They all look hungry to me.
I guess magpies don't bother circling, they just land and wait.
