I love the drama and, how can I put this, almost lyrical quality to the clouds. Love the conversion and the black sky. Not sure about the paired trees and snow in the FG, though. I'm thinking you could crop to the middle of the trees, clone out what remains and you would have a stronger image.

hmmm... I think Marc is onto something there. I would even go so far as to suggest cropping to pano to focus attention on the mountain and sky.

I agree about the crop and the lower right trees. This is a really nice exposure to capture so much detail in the snow. I like the treatment of the sky here as well in the B&W conversion as well.

Ski tracks are a bit distracting but otherwise I love it. Then again....they do add some texture to the foreground.
Cool shot Rick. But I think you put your tri pod legs in mine.

Very nice. The ski lift leads you right up the mountain as it should... Makes me want to get off my butt and go hiking this weekend in the predicted snow we are suppose to get up here. :)

Great cloud catch - hard to get a shot from this side in winter without a lot of ski clutter, unfortunately.

This is a great image that works for me. I especially like the dark skies and the pattern of clouds rolling across the peak.
