Was in the Skagit on Wed. and found this among other fields. Also still a large flock of Snow Geese hanging around (no wonder!)
I'll hold good thoughts for all of you going up this weekend. Hopefully just enough snow to make for some ghastly good shots and not so much to make the traveling dangerous. Have fun; I eagerly await the results!

I think I am so jealous that I can not go - I think there are going to get the perfect amount of snow to make a great image.

I really like the colors and patterns of the flowers in the foreground and the way you have framed this, although I might be tempted to crop a little of the top. I imagine there will be some great images coming back.

hey we shot this field Saturday evening. I tried to find a triangle of those lonesome yellow tulips, but I don't think I succeeded in my comp. I like the layers Catherine. mice color too.

Pretty tulips but I don't think the background is doing this any favors. I recall almost an identical comp from last year or the year before.
Yep, Erik, you're probably right. I didn't do a great job on the processing for the sky. The fields were vibrant; the bg was misty with clouds lying in the hills– makes that part look smudgy and bleary in comparison to the fields. It was lovely looking at it though. And the psd file looks a lot better. Thanks for the feedback. I'll work on it some more.
