Gannet
Hi to all,

Gannet , photographed this morning at Bempton cliffs , spent a very enjoyable day being blown about the cliff tops although I'm minus a wooly hat thanks to a huge gust of wind that sucked it off me head , so if any ones fishing off the east coast please keep an eye out for it  , lost and found aside I had a cracking day , Gannets , Fulmars and Guilly's just hanging in the air down to 15ft at times , wish I'd have taken the 300mm aswell , the birds were way too close for the 500mm most of the time , thanks for looking.

Lovely shot Andy.
I remember Bempton from a long time back. Those cliffs are scary. !!( they were before they fenced it.) Worse than Scunthorpe on a saturday night !
Lucky it did'nt suck you off the cliff !!
Cheers

Getting blown and sucked off-yep sounds like Bempton, I have some fond memories of gannets and puffins there-great pose

Nice one Andy, again put off by the weather, maybe next weekend for me. That's some courage you have going on those cliffs with 30mph winds about.

I like this one, the pose makes it for me, also the water looks nice and pale, when I have been up there the water has always been a very dark blue and makes exposure more of a problem. :toast: :toast:

Hi Andy,

Your perseverance has certainly rewarded you with an eye catching image! I love the way you have captured it with his feet down. Superb pose and head turn! Simply one awesome image!

Hi Andrew,

An excellent shot and your image inspires me to visit Bempton for the first time, sooner rather than later.
