I think this is a pretty obscure place, but I could be wrong.

How about - Cathedral Peak seen from Castle Creek Road?

I know where this shot was taken!

Just outside of a Nissan XTerra!

Great vista. Is this the view from Electric Pass?

OK, I'll end the agony.
Mel and Rene were the closest. This is Taylor pass, just south of Aspen. The highest peak in the middle is Castle peak.

Thanks for playing. :toast:

Taylor Pass. Castle is in the clouds, Cathedral to its right.

Crap. I just saw you gave it away. You gave in too soon. But that peak you see isn't Castle, it's Cathedral.

Like I said

You were only half right, Rene. Taylor Pass road isn't Castle Creek road.
Posted by Rene Pirolt on April 20, 2008 at 2:35 PM
Correct - I was off by about a mile.

Todd, sorry I gave the answer too soon. I didn't know the rules. I'll wait until after you chime in next time.

I looked at Google Earth, and I concluded that it was Castle Peak, but I trust you more, so thanks.

This should clear things up.

Thanks for the clarification. Nice light. :toast:
