This was shot 4-8-08. it was raining hard and had been for several hours. This is more flow than I had ever seen here. Shot at 128mm 1/16 f22 ISO 100. Shot some here in Jan with a lot of ice, then I got down to the base this day I didn't think I would get back to top if I tried that. The location is David's chamber just South of Nauvoo.
I like this shot. Perhaps moving to the left a bit and with some zoom the platforms on the left would have not been visible

Nice soft mood here, Kendall. I agree with Andrew that cropping out the left platform, and maybe some the foreground grasses will make this a more compelling image.
Good image under given the conditions. The water looks great but I don't think the foreground/background helps the image. I personally think this comp would look better later in the spring or in the fall, after a similar rain. I'd also suggest moving to the right and including the background bridge (but not the deck) in alternate comps. Certainly looks like an area worth going back to repeatedly.
I do have a couple with different comp will post one later with more fall and less of the suroundings. Moving to the right however put me on the highway and I couldn't stay there long, I think drivers equate umbrella& tripod to mean target.

Looks like a nice waterfall, Kendall. Do try to go back when the grasses green up...it will give a whole new view on the scene.
