Well I wondered down to the park again yesterday, just for the day. The dogwoods are really looking good. Anyway, not many dogwoods up at this spot but there was enough soft spring color for me.
I saw more tripods and camera yesterday than I did all 3 days I was there last weekend

Nice shot. I love this spot, but have never gotten a shot that I'm really satisfied with here. Glad to hear the dogwoods are looking good, I'll be there tomorrow and Tuesday!
If I were to print this image I would clone out the upper left dark branch starting at the middle of the picture. As I am drawn into the picture and my eyes move slowly up, it seems to distract a little. Maybe just climb up that tree and just wack it off next time you are up there... jus kiddin...
Thomas it's a beautiful shot. I love the small waterfall flowing over the rock. I live in Arkansas and I was considering heading to SMNP. I was checking in so see how the trees where coming along. This looks like a great spot. Is there a trail along this creek? And how do you get to it? Thanks for your help.

I told my friend Kerry that it is impossible to take a bad picture from this spot. You've proven me right yet again. . .
