Hen Harrier
Havn't posted for a while but recently got a 600mm F4 from Rob and have been working on the moors again.

Had some great encounters with this guy recently.

40D 600mm F4 + 1.4X, 400iso 1/320 @ f5.6

Cheers

Brian

Hi Brian,

Good to see the lens being put to good use. Nit covered but it brought me plenty of luck so hopefully this will continue with you.

Regards

Rob

Hi Brian,

Great shot of this male Hen Harrier!
A bit soft though and i think it is due to the use of the 1.4 converter with this lens at diafragm F5.6. I think it would be better to go for F8 or F9 at least next time to get some sharper results (i have the same lens and work that way to get enough sharpness...)

greetings,
