I had the place to my own this morning....I was treated to a wonderful sunrise, and a great little burst of snow as well. I couldn't have asked for a better morning.
It will be my last trip to the tulip fields this year. They will start topping the tulips tomorrow so the rows will be dwindling.

I should have stayed home
Nice sky Roman! It the color in the sky seems a bit clipped, but I'm on the Family computer so maybe it's this monitor.

Great stuff Roman! They really look prime. I can see why they are going to start topping them tommorrow.
The sky color and clouds look great. But I agree with Curtis that at least in this web version colors in the sky seem to be clipping a bit. Although it is noticeable it is not excessive. Nothing a little PP couldn't fix.

Nice shot Roman though I do agree with the others on the sky.
First off, thanks guys!!!! Took this with a split ND filter....(been playing with one lately.)
I have a bit of a connundrum here. It was kinda dark, and there IS even limited DR of the human eye and the little gold slice was as it looked to me when I saw it. It was bright to the point of harsh to my eyes. It shows up golden on my calibrated monitor....but very bright.
Somtimes we try to manage the DR too much to the point of being unnatural....even to the human eye. And with my goal in editing to stay closer to what the human eye truly sees...I will have to think a little about your valued input and see if I truly want to edit it a bit.
Well, Roman! Nothing about soft dawn light here. Wow that is some color, very vivid all through. Looks compostionally better to me without the "sky hole" at the top... Must have been amazing to see this.

Nice comp, Roman, but the image is a bit high in contrast to my eye, especially the tulips. Also agree on the clipping in the sky.

Great shot, Roman - agree that toning down the sky should help a bunch. The flowers look in great shape here..
Ok....really put some time into this. The sky is much bluer than it should be....and toneing down the sky is an excellent suggestion. Sooooo I redid it. MUCH better. And one of the reasons I joined this forum...honest and sincere feedback. Other forums are either tooo touchy feely to say anything...or so harsh you cant even stand the comments. So thank you for providing a friendly environment for good healthy discourse.

Huge difference Roman. The sky looks real in the 2nd version. Looks like it was a nice place to be that morning. Have not photographed tulip fields since the ones in Holland in 04. Maybe next year. Good work!
I know where this is, Roman, I was there last Monday after their BIG weekend. It looked like it was partied hard then. I had the place to myself then, too.
Maybe next year we'll shoot together, eh?
