Howdy All! Well, it took me a couple weeks, but I finally have a little contribution from the awesome Dad's Gone Utah trip! OK, so very little to show actually! I got my 4x5's scanned right away, but been too darn busy to work on all my digital images. And my scanner is kinda crap, so still need to work most of those files a bit before they are ready to show. But, I do have one 4x5, and a few snaps of the guys!

The image above was from 4x5 transparency, converted to B&W in CS3, which is pretty much was I was thinking as I was shooting it. It's OK in color, but fairly bland and colorless anyway. Let me know what you think.

Wista 45DX
135mm lens
Fuji Velvia 100F
1/15 sec @ f/22.3

I'll post the snaps below.

Well, looks like my image posting abilities are over, my NPN membership ran out. I'll try to post them some other way soon. :frown:

Brent, I think there is something wrong with your Velvia.

I like your minimalist interpretation of the Mancos Shale.
I assume this was in the Bentonite Hills?

I can't wait to get back there and drive that in the rain.

Great detail and nice abstract at the same time. I like the lines. Sweet!
