Tha Gores
geeeee I haven't been able to get out much, but again finally after a month of sitting at home I was able to get out and north of Silverthorne to Ute Pass. I gotta admit the weather wasn't that great, it was just plain haaaaazy

This photo is actually cropped from it's original size, I hope it's okay to everyone's tastes (or at least to the less picky of yous)

I also decided to get down to Dillon Reservoir and well I decided to go to the really popular overlook, on the south west side, looking at Peak One and Ten Mile Peak. I know this is probably a very common photograph taken, but I do like this spot. What amazes me is that in only 15 miles Or there abouts it went from rediculously hazy to clear

and last but not least is the Citadel from Loveland Pass

I really like your composition in the Citadel shot. Nice light too!

The Citadel shot is really nice, but it seems like your white balance might be on auto? Seems like the sky should be blue but turned out gray.

Mel: I think the grey is from the haze, it was very hazy today. I'll post a corrected shot

Okay I hope this is a slight improvement

That looks a bit better.

Hopefully the haze is not indicative of the summer to come. I noticed in the springs the last few days also.

Paul thanks for sharing, was just up that way myself but didnt make it to DIllion. That Citadel shot is great! Does anyone know the name of those two sharp pyramidal peaks in the Gore Range, the second (distant) grop from the left?? I was most impressed by them, I know theres a lot of unamed peaks in the range. Ill definitely be back this summer.

Stan: According to summitpost.org they are peaks "R" "S" and "T" along that ridgeline, the two you see here is "S" and "T" Peak "R" is in the back of that ridge. Then to the right is "J" then "K" then "L" and infront on the right is Guyselman and then "N" then "O". Of course none are official names(I am not too sure if Guyselman is the official name or not). You can tell that I am REEEALLLY bored right now
