I like your choice, Tim - the black and white does work better. Beautiful tone and texture here that is not as prominent in the color version. Very nice.

The B&W works nicely for this image. I like the texture and the detail. Nicely done.

Great detail, Tim. I like to B & W take on this shot. Wish you were coming this weekend. I guess I will have to drink your portion of the wine!

Jeez - I wish I could be there for the weekend as well. Tom, if I have a chance I'll open a bottle of Toasted Head in your honor! Hopefully if we do something in the fall I can be there. Though not October 18 - I'm getting married that weekend!!!
Wow. I wouldn't have recognized these as redbud flowers. Nice composition and amazing texture and detail. Tim, is there a sepia cast to this, or is it just my monitor?
Congratulations on the October 18th "engagement", Tim...wish you all the best! I hope you have a scenic destination planned for the honeymoon so you will be able to take lots of photographs!

Thanks Bill,
John - yep it's a slight sepia treatment. Just warmed it up a bit.
