Earth Day is Not Just a Day

Folks, It's 365 days a year and there are so many little things we can all do.

Turn off the water while we daydream as we brush our teeth. Turn off lights not being used ...

We have some good ideas and good images on Weekly Challenge.

Lots of folks have posted images around wind power...
Larry Andreasen
Dan Garth
Miro Susta
Glenn Fillmore
Carol Hyman
Barbara Zarrella has shared what re-forestation is like in Florida.
Mel Ladewig has found a tree planted in an unusual location.
Danny Young has posted an image demonstrating electrical power being generated by water falls.
And David Sparks has shown us an image that reflects how wildlife and birds are affected by oil spills.

Good job all

We still have a few days to dig into our archives to locate an image related to earth day. Let's go for it.

We're a vocal group and most of us are concerned about the environment. I hope you can locate some images to share.

Thanks for posting

Carol

Come on folks, think about mother nature and the impact we have on this tiny globe. Heck, its all ours.

Danny.

Doing research on split prism screens for my D200 and ran across this saying on a web site. Just had to share it

Save planet Earth, it's the only planet with chocolates.

Cheers

Carol
