Another image from my trip to Holland with Edwin, this is such a beautiful bird. I only had one morning with them but I am pleased with what I got, Holland is such a beautiful place I will be going back for sure.

Canon 1D MK11, 500mm Lens, 1.4x Convertor, 1/1000, F5.6, ISO 200

Nice one again Danny, I am going to have to get over there too, perhaps next year....

Looks like the exposure has been handled well which can be a nightmare with these, although the blacks look a bit dense here I have a good feeling that this is down to the compression..

There is a very, very slight halo round the beak :wink: , (well got to find something wrong :biggrin: )

nother super image Danny. Agree with Phil about the halo though. The blacks maybe a bit dense but adds to the mood in great light. Nice work :toast:

Great image Danny - I like the overall comp and the lighting especially :toast:

Nice catch light in the eye too :wink:

To me the halo effect is only really noticeable underneath the beak - I doubt I'd have noticed it if it hadn't already been pointed out :wink:
