Sleepy Ibex
Its been a long time since i visited the Ibex in the Swiss Jura so decided to check up on them now that most of the snow has gone, It didnt take too long to find a small group and one of last years young,Its been a long winter and good to see it has survived,It was cloud level there today at 1500m so i had to wait for each shot between heavy bursts of mist,Although you cant see it because of the mist the ibex is sitting on the edge of a 5/600feet drop-doesnt seem too worried about it-Looks like he is about to yodel but think its just a yawn

Now that is a shot and a half Dave - makes me smile and go wow at the same time as the BG just makes that scree slope look mighty precipitous. :toast: :toast:

That's one contented Ibex :wavey:

Like it, agree with Andy the bg really makes it look steep and not for someone like myself who doesn't get on with heights.

Thanks for sharing.

It took some time to figure out if I like the background. I do now
I think it's a great shot of a great animal. I just wish for a bit more rock in the frame.
Well done and I hope to see more.

It does give a sense of looking over the edge.
Nice shot.
