Thanks for posting this Younes. I'm very excited to have won. In the 3 months they've been running this new cash contest 2 of the 3 grand prize winners have been from this group. Marc was the first grand prize winner. Here is a link to see the winners http://www.betterphoto.com/contest/cashWinners.asp
Congrats on your Honorable Mention Younes, I love the fire and ice look, beautiful.
So...you're buyin dinner or lunch then? I'll leave it up to you . Nice job there dude...
You know I think that NPN should have monthly cash prizes too. Maybe put a stipulation on entrants can only enter if they have a certain comment to post ratio or something. That might stimulate more comments from folks.

Congrats to both you and Zack! Both are great images. Nice work guys. I have not entered that contest but maybe I will try... although that bar has been raised pretty high now!

Hey Zack, when you were running up that ledge a bunch of times trying to get the shot, were you imagining that it would ever be this popular of an image? Was certainly worth all the huffing and puffing! Man, it is one of the most unique and creative self portraits I've seen. Deserved win!
I agree with you also on Younes' fire & ice shot, GREAT look it has. You guys are tearing up this new contest, only 3 months into it!

Hehe, the funny thing about that image, I was just bored and thought it sounded like a fun idea. I was bummed out because I thought the fog was going to obscure the mountain for sunset, which it did, but thankfully my playful spirit got me off my duff and trying something new. Lucky for me it worked out really well, it took about 10 trys because the waves of fog kept obscuring the mountain when the shutter would open. It was a blast, even though Jeremy was laughing at me the whole time
