Starting to see quite a few paintbrush around as well as something that resembles white larkspur. More cactus blooming, too. Gotta work today and tomorrow but will be out and about again on Sunday. Stay tuned...

Thanks for the continuing updates, Bret! I'll be there over the first week of May so its starting to look like my timing should be pretty decent.

I'm hoping to get at least a sunset shoot on Sunday. I haven't even touched my camera in about a month!

Brett, Thanks for the update. Do you think the flowers are a little late this year?

I've seen two types of cactus blooming but I'm not sure what they are. I haven't seen any prickly pear blooming.

The flowers do seem a little late this year. It hasn't been as warm as past years and that may have something to do with it.

I'll let ya'll know what I find on Sunday.

Saw a few sego lillies and some prince's plume blooming alongside the trail today. Still no lupine, mules ear or prickly pear.
