North Cascades Highway

Hi folks,

The North Cascades highway is supposed to open on May 1st. Normal openings occur at the end of March so it's a whole month late. Want to see "why"? Look here:

Anyone know when you can make it up harts pass over the north cascades hiway?

The North Cascade Highway has two passes, Rainy, then Washington going east. I don't know of a Harts pass. I do know tho that the hiway is open all the way across.

I thought I'd heard of Harts Pass before so I did a little searching.

Harts Pass won't be open probably until July at the earliest. Maybe August this year if there's been slides on the road again.
