With the HDR theme in the Weekly Challenge at the moment, I would like to ask you folks something if I can.
Would it be possible with that particular theme, to not only post the result, but also in a single block, the 3 images (4, 5, or six, etc) you used as a repost. I'm sure we would all love to see both sets and exactly what images were used for the HDR result. Just post them as a repost.
Jim, would that be okay for that theme?. I would love to see the exposures and how they got it there. Fascinating lesson for those of us that are new to HDR.
Thanks folks, just such and interesting theme.
Danny.

Danny, it's a great idea. I think posting even just one of the images might give us a clue as to increased range that has been accomplished.
I think equally as important is the shooting information, especially how far apart the stops were in the images.
A I practice this, I'm discovering it's not the easiest technique in the world and I'm not sure all images benefit from it.
Go for it and try it, M8. It will be my turn to get you a cuppajo
Terrible day today Carol, so I tried it at 2 F/stops either side and I can see exactly what it does. Quite remarkable with sort of an average with better contrasts and lighting. I need a fine day though. Just not the right day for it. Fascinating process and I'm hoping some of the experts can show us what they started with. You could get close with software, but it would require far too much close in selective work. Not worth it. HDR works.
