It was good to see all the old timers again, and to meet some new faces at the gathering this weekend. Food was great, and I hope everyone was able to take home a few keepers to hang on the wall.
I figured Smith Creek would be changed from the recent 100 year flood, and it was. Lots of moss gone, but I still think it's one of the most scenic places to explore in the Buffalo watershed. This is a shot from a place I spent a lot of time at last year, and I think I like it almost as much.
I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else got.
Bill, I really like this spot also and your shot is great! I spent some time at this same spot on Friday before the lighting and rain chased us away! It looks like you guys made it down to Smith Creek on either Saturday evening or Sunday morning? Where else were you able to shoot?
We went to Smith Creek Saturday afternoon, and most everyone went to upper Indian Creek this morning. I wanted to get a shot over at Lost Valley this morning, then photographed some elk down at Steele Creek, and then a couple of barns before heading in to cook brunch.

Bill,
Great shot. Almost as good as your buscuits and gravy.
Very nice Bill. I cannot imagine this place being any more scenic than it is now. The photo ops were limitless. Thanks for taking us down there and keeping the rain away this time. Thanks for the great biscuits & gravy. They really hit the spot after Sunday mornings outing.
Great work, Bill. Love the square crop. I wish I could have made it down. Looks like you all had a marvelous time.

Great shot Bill, I is a very wonderful place for sure, especially for a new comer like myself. I honestly hated to leave areas like this.
Thank you for the wonderful sausage, biscuit & gravy breakfast Sunday morn, as you probably noticed from how much I ate, I really liked it!
It was very nice meeting you Bill.
Take Care,
Brad

Great capture. I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend . The area provides for limitless possibilities and I now understand how you can continue to shoot in the same basic area and come up with new shots each time. Pleasure meeting you and the breakfast was wonderful.
Bill a beautiful smith creek image. I'm really sorry I wasn't able to make it to the get together.I really missed getting to meet everyone.

Bill, there is amazing detail in this shot ... and this is web display!!! I would love to see this in print. If this kind of sharpness and detail is available in the 12 - 24 & D2X I may have to consider new equipment options! Fantastic work my friend.
Thanks for helping make the weekend a huge success. Next time we misplace you we'll know where to look!
