I found this flower under the bluff at Sweeden Creek during our shoot on Saturday morning of the gathering. It was really nice to see everyone and I want to thank Rod for his hospitality and use of his cabin. Rod, you have a great place!
I will post a few more shots in my gallery later in the week.
I like it Tom, I'll have some of those to post soon myself. It was good seeing you again and I also agree that Rod's hospitality was first rate.

Great detail, color, and composition Tom. It was a good weekend for shooting these stars. We found a bunch above Hammerschmidt Falls this morning. Nice meeting you.

Tom,
Great shot. Hope your boots dried out after Smith Creek.
You guys are welcome anytime at the cabin.
Very nice Tom. You might have stayed dryer if you stayed under the shelf longer. You guys do get the award for the best adventure story of the weekend. You all looked like you had been swimming when you got to Rod's wonderful cabin.
Nice job, Tom. I haven't had a chance yet with these flowers, but I look forward to "shooting" some.

Wonderful shot Tom, great detail. Glad you were able to take advantage of the beauty before the clouds let loose that afternoon. Walking back up the trail in the pouring rain, even though probably not my favorite part of the trip, was still a wonderful experience because of the folks I was with.
Great meeting you Tom.
Take Care,
Brad

Nice shot Tom. I didn't get any shooting stars - I guess after our adventure on Friday - I didn't want to lay in the wet grass and get soaked all over again. We had a great time even though we darn near drowned hiking out. I'm glad some of the others had to stop and breath from time to time so I didn't feel to bad gasping for breath.... I enjoyed meeting you and sharing our hike.
Tom a really nice close up. Sounds like a everyone had a great time. I really felt bad not being there. I had to be home for some business. Not familar with sweeden creek. where is it at?

Very nice Tom. I didn't shot any of those. I shot a crested iris there. Wildflowers are new to me. I need to get a macro. Good seeing you again. Great weekend!
Gale, Sweeden Creek is north of Boxley off of Highway 21. It was my first time there also, so I just followed Bill. There is a good description and directions in Tim's book, Arkansas Nature Lover's Guide on page 40.
Tom, really nice detail on the main subject. The background really makes it stand out. I took a quick look at my attempts at the shooting stars and wasn't very happy with the results.
Great to see you again and kick around the Memphis / Kansas National Championship game!
