Things to Do - CT Peony Festival

Just found an article in Connecticut Magazine about a peony festival being held in Thomaston from mid to late May. 300 varieties of peonies from China, Japan and US on 7 acre display. Cricket Hill Gardens, 670 Walnut Hill Road, Thomaston. (860) 283-1042. treepeony.com

Maybe those coming on the NENP trip can come a day early and stop in Thomaston, Southbury Falls and a few other places. There are plenty of hotels off RT8.
