I shot this the day after we almost drowned on Smith Creek. Thank you to everyone in the group for making me feel welcome. I appreciate it. Special thanks to Wayne for organinzing the whole thing and Rod for the use of the cabin. Dale provided a great lunch, Bill a good brunch, Bruce for snacks and others (I can't remember who brought what) for the drinks etc. I had never been to Arkansas to shoot before and had a ball. Looking forward to next time.

Hey Cook! Good comp. I'll post my idea on this shot. Enjoyed your company and hey, great steak and baked potatoes! I heard it was 8 miles down there and 18 miles back. Lightening will do that to you.

Very nice, Merle, especially the light in the tree leaves. Thanks for the fantastic steak, BP, and salad - makes my mouth water just thinking about it. It was a pleasure meeting you - hope to see you again in the fall.

Nice composition and color, Merle. I enjoyed meeting you and hearing your stories. Thanks again for the great dinner. If I'm ever in California, I'll know what steak to ask for!

Merle, nice take on this spot. I enjoyed meeting and visiting with you. I hope you stayed dry the rest of the weekend!
Hey Merle, another great take on this scene. I like what you and Glenn each did, capturing a different perspective. I shot it too and mine version is slightly different still. I'll try to post one time permitting.
We had some interesting adventures on this trip ... but none as exciting as your storied career in LA huh?
