A California Poppy. Antelope Valley, CA.

No artificial light or reflectors or diffusers were used...

Eric,

Very nice poppy portrait. While it seems a tad bright, I think it's quite appropriate and the colors look completely natural. Simple and captured beautifully.

Really nice! I might have opted for an angle that hid the leaves and bud showing in the bottom left corner, but I love the comp and the color.

Don't have much choice with poppies and the light.. they are only usually open from about 9am-5pm.. Then the close up for the night...

You must have been really low to get this angle, right?
