Apologies ladies & gentlemen for posting another image, but I find these animals absolutely amazing and to use the over used word 'awesome'
BTW the cropped tail I can live with IMHO, its the stance & expression I wanted to capture.

Hi Steve,
A very majestic mammal! The expression and stance as you say makes the image!

Never apologise for posting a wonderful creature like this Steve
The cropped tail does bother me a bit - if the shot were head-on or 3/4 angle then DoF would render a lot of the animal OoF and so it wouldn't matter, but in a sideways on shot where every part of the animal is sharp it does tend to stand out a bit.
Not enough space at the bottom, unbalances with the dead space at the top - subject a tad too low in the frame.
Having said all that Steve it's a superb capture of an amazing animal - the lighting conveys the atmosphere brilliantly, the posture is classic and the thing that amazes me most of all is that the tiger has both right feet off the ground - how does it do that without falling over
Thanks for posting it - wonderful animal to see and I for one will never tire of seeing them - post 'em all Stevo
The stance makes it-very purposeful-what was it stalking, It would have been nice to have more room around the animal and agree with Andy about the positioning in the frame-Fantastic looking cat though and hope they will always be around

What a fantastic pose. Agree about the framing but still a superb shot.

Super shot of an amazing animal. You can see that his weight is on his left front leg, I presume that how he stays upright, although he only has 2 feet on the ground. At least that is what I think!
