Worms eye view
Lucky to have Robins nesting in my garden. There were 5 young yesterday afternoon when I took this shot. This morning there was one dead on the lawn. I think they are getting too big for the nest and one was pushed out?

Nikon 300mm f2.8 + 1.7TC

Nice nest shot.
You're lucky with this-Robins desert very easily even with chicks.

Now thats what i call detail! I'm not usually a fan of flash but guess it was needed for this one - nest looks like its buried away. nice and deep..

Hi Tony,

Very nice! Now say Ah! Shame about the one being pushed out, but it isn't uncommon for one to die in the nest and the parent take it out to keep it clean and tidy! Especially with a big brood!

That's a nice shot to see, Tony. As its already lost its tail and the point of the picture is the feeding of the year, I wondered how it might look if you cropped in a bit tighter to concentrate on the head of the adult and the chicks. Nice one.
