For those who might be interested, the Tulip Festival in Holland, MI starts this Saturday, May 3. For the first time in quite a few years, the Tulips are actually going to be blooming on time, instead of early. Early Tulips are up now with the others coming up right on schedule and should be blooming later this week or early next week.
The best places for Tulip images are at Veldheer's Tulip farm, on US 31, or at Windmill Island, off Eighth Street in Holland.
Unfortunately, my timing is off this year. My oldest son is getting married this Saturday and I'm going to KY on Monday for a few days with a stop in Cincinnati the following weekend on the way home. If I'm lucky, I might be able to squeeze in a little bit of time at Veldheer's later in the day this Sunday.
