I was intrigued by the spiral nature of this flower.

Thanks to everyone for a great weekend. Sid says Hi!

Nicely done Rod. It is a very interesting flower. It was the first time I have seen them in this color. The ones here in Missouri are yellow. Thanks for hosting the group at your wonderful cabin.

Boy Rod - those colors really "pop" and the detail is right on. Nice shot. Hey to Sid...

Hey Rod. Great detail in the flower, and I like how you included the leaves in the background. It was a great weekend for these flowers. I saw them at Lost Valley, Smith Creek, and Hammerschmidt Falls. Thanks again for hosting the group. I couldn't wait to tell my wife all about the gorgeous cabin.

Good shot Rod! I've got one, found in Lost Valley, that I will eventually post. Before last weekend I never knew about the little hairs in the center area. Like John I was intrigued by the cabin, and especially the front door. Hope Sid liked the Pigs-n-blankets.

Great detail Rod, very beautiful image. Almost make me want to smell my screen! This would be a nice addition in the cabin. These are wonderful flowers, I wish I would have spent more time trying to get some images of these and other wonderful wildflowers. Very well done.

Great shot Rod! Love the color and the sharp details of the center of the flower.

Rod, I really like what you've done with this shot. I was shying away from them because I wasn't sure I could do them justice. Really nice detail, I like the well defined hairs & spiralling petals too. The light seems just a bit harsh but you managed it well. Thanks for sharing!

What a great weekend made all the more enjoyable because of your hospitality! Many thanks! :wavey:
