Bathing Swan
This was taken last week. I was hoping for some kingfishers but none to be seen so I amused myself by watching a pair of Mute Swans going through their bathing routine. I had never really watched them before and was mightily impressed with the effort they put in.
I've tried to pick a shot that not only showed the effort but also a reasonable composition.

Very attractive shot with a real feeling of 'action'. I like the colours too.

Fine shot. I would say you succeeded in getting the one you wanted there.
