Great Horned Owls
I was able to get out this morning before the pouring rain started and capture images of a couple of newly hatched Great Horned Owls. Hope to go back when they are more awake and capture some more images. I don't think they will be hanging around the nest much longer.

Hope to see more. We have more of them around in the winter, but not a lot. Looks like an interesting subject.

Was just strolling thru a park in Lake County and I came accoss one. My pictures didn't come as that great becuse I was on the opposite side of a raging river. I'll try to post the pic when I get home.
I thought it was strange that she was still around. There was a empty nest nearby. :biggrin:

Nice capture of this "brancher." Another couple of weeks and they'll be flying a bit.
