I took this shot while shooting wildflowers last summer, but just got around to scanning it. The flower conditions weren’t great while I was out, but I ended up with a nice sunset over the Sneffels Range.

...looking forward to this years wildflowers.

C&C Welcome.

Ebony SV45TE, Nikkor 210mm, Fuji Velvia 100

"...looking forward to this years wildflowers. "
Hopefully the snow will melt before the Aspens change! I'm also hoping for a good flower year.
As for the photo, I like it. Its a classic view and well represented here. I'm sure you've adjusted the WB, but it maybe looks a tad on the blue side. Maybe its just me, I always like things warmed up. Other than that, I think you should just crank out a giant print and call it good.
And where was the sunset shot, did I miss it?

Wow - that's extremely pretty! Makes me long for warmer days and want to be right there. The balance in the foreground is a nice compliment for the peaks. There might indeed be a little color tweeking to help touch things up - I'm almost getting a bit of reddish hues (?), but it's fine as it is and could be my eye or monitor.

Nice Pano Rene. Seems like it could use a bit of a contrast boost along the mountains, but then again maybe its best the way it is.

I'm sure you've adjusted the WB, but it maybe looks a tad on the blue side.

It just looks like Velvia 100 to me. I had several sheets shot in the afternoon that looked similar.

I figured it was just me, thanks Mel.

Guys - thanks for the feedback... Now that I look at it, I agree as well - the color is a bit off... This is basically as straight scan from Velvia 100, and I only lightened the lower part of the image.

I will WB this a little better, and post an update later tonight.

Beautiful. Pastoral and mountainous all wrapped together with sweet soft light and a nice touch of clouds.

I still have a lot to learn I guess. When I look at this image before reading comments, I am in awe of the way you've captured it. I shot a similar image a couple years ago but not half as good as this. I guess I've still not reached the stage where I can see the little things like color casts. It is only after I read the other comments that begin to notice the little things. The comments help me when I look at my own images, although I still have a lot to learn in photoshop. Back to this image...I love it and I would hang it on my wall for sure!

Man I gotta get down there! Shots like this make it hard for me to figure out where I'm going over the Summer.

I've been choosing between, Jackson Hole, Glacier NP, and Down in Southern Colorado
