Common Tern Stretching (with repost)
Apologies for not posting or commenting in a while - after a very uneventful March I've been trying to make the most of the recent influx of spring visitors. Anyway here's one from a couple of days a go. I've had to replace the wing tips as in this frame I'd slightly cropped them off, the next frame had everything in but I preferred the position of the bird in this shot so using the PS quick mask method described in Art Morris' manual I pasted them across. I wish I'd used a bit of fill flash on this but like always my flash lay forgotten in the car

Thanks for looking

Some amazingly graphic lines happening here Paul - very nice :toast:

I think you could afford to go with a central comp on this just to give some room for the tail :wavey:

Like the cropped repost, the pose makes a great vertical panorama - erally shows the size of the wings
