Showy Orchis
I have always tried to get an image of this little wildflower but they always seem to me at least, to have kind of a wilted or aged look to them, I can never seem to get the timing right.

Does the deep shadow in the leaves work with these or do I need to open them up a bit, any feedback or suggestions would be great, Thanks.

This is one of those images that my eye enjoys traveling around in enjoying all the beauty.
Great, soft light too!

Bernie,

You probably took this in the shade of a blue-sky day didn't you? The little tongues of the flower are a white so I'd do a little color correction to remove a touch of the reflected blues and then lighten a touch also. As for the comp, I really like it!

I'd leave the color cast as-is. Lovely image, Bernie. Very pleasing. :toast:
