Paint Hills
Hi all! It's been a long time. I finally got the camera out of moth balls and put it to some use.
I'm out at the OMSI Hancock Field Station near Antelope doing some astronomy (between clouds) this weekend and took a drive down to the hills today.
Thought I'd upload one of the shots. Fire away my friends.

Really well composed Eric, I'm enjoying how the foreground leads into the background. I'd be tempted to crop just enough to remove that URC, and to steepen the endpoints of the a curve in lab just a tad to bring out the color of the reds. Nice!

Awesome to see you post again...we missed ya my friend! I really like this comp, but like John said...I'd like to see the reds be a little more prominant here...but otherwise...awesome!

Thanks all,
Yeah, I was working this photos with my un-calibrated laptop. It looked pretty good out there in the field but it could definitely use some re-working with the home computer. Thanks for the welcome back and critiques. I'll try and work a few more this week to post up.
