Herons and lots of water
This image is from earlier in the flooding. Have been catahing a few decent shots as I boat in and out of town. The river has crested now and is dropping fairly fast. Have seen a greater variety of birds this year than ever. Wish I had more time to spend with them.

Nice shot. I think I need a boat to get some better bird pictures. Also notice that there would be some great water tension pictures in this area.

Very unique posture on the heron and well captured. I could see this with some of the empty space at the top cropped to give the heron more prominence.
