RMNP today
Nothing really special about this shot except it was taken on a nice day in a beautiful place. The weather was perfect for hiking.
It's Spring out there!
(Canon A620. Hdr on the rocks and blended in the sky from a standard exposure)

Nice shot Paul! I was sitting in a classroom all day studying wilderness first aid. I was looking longingly at these clouds and so wished I was out there. I am really glad that you managed to be there to capture them. I'm not sure of your exact location. Were these the rocks right near the road or a little further down? I think you did a good job with the comp on this one. Beautiful!

Those clouds are pretty special. Nice comp too. Wish I could have been there!

Sweet clouds and Spring feel. Thanks for sharing this image!

Are the lakes or falls starting the great melt off yet do you know?

Those are sweet clouds, nice crisp clear image of the peaks, definitely starting to warm up in the park!.

nice wispy clouds,I also like the compo. I was in summit county, exploring all the eastern Gores trailheads on the same day you were at RMNP, it is JUST starting to look like spring up there

Thanks for the comments folks.
Erik - this is actually on the Deer Mtn trail, not more than a 1/4 mile up. We actually sat around here for about 30 minutes just enjoying the view.
Derek - Beaver meadows is clear, and so was a good portion of Deer Mtn, although there was still snow in the trees, especially up high. Also, Horseshoe Park was clear. We didn't go higher up (Bear Lake), so I can't comment on that.
