Rolling Hills
I really like this area and wish i could spend more time there. A quick trip found snow on the butte with no flowers yet. Your comments are appreciated. Canon 5d, iso 100, F/16 with 70-200 2.8 L. Cliff

I really like the layers and the pervasive haze throughout these (Palouse??) hills. I'd even be tempted to crop out all the sky and just keep the layers.

Crazy, Cliff! The only thing I don't like is the left and right sides of the last hill in the background. Those lines turn a very non-literal photo into a literal one.

So maybe crop at the base of the hill where the left trees will be just cropped out?

Maybe this?

I agree, Mr. Crop (Mark) comes through again. Cliff, the image is fantastic. The distant perspect caused by the smooth, rolling hills dissapearing in the haze is about as good has I've seen.

Ditto. That is a very cool image. The hazy, magenta cast is perfect, and the crop is just right.

The second crop is excellent. I was checking this out last night... the haze really makes this in every way.... :toast:
