Yeah, the colors are spectacular!
Unfortunately, I've never had a camera in hand the few times that I have seen them.

Great perspective on this guy. I've never seen a Collared Lizard in all the times I've been out, but I keep looking!

I see them in NW New Mexico frequently, but nowhere else...yet.
Obviously not 'Eastern' ones, though.

Found him at Colorado National Monument. That's a pretty cool place. Usually pass it on the way to Moab, but need to start stopping there too.

Cool Jeremy. I think my wife saw one of these when we were in Wire Pass. She got my attention to come look at it but we weren't able to find it again.

I've only seen one, and that was in Dominguez Canyon (in the same general area as Colorado NM).

The only one I've ever seen was at the Tucson Desert Museum. I didn't know they existed in Colorado. That first shot makes him look like he has a little Ninja in him.
