Rhesus monkey
Could not resist this one

This is cropped, will post the original too as I am unsure which one I like and the original is more 'habitat' apart from the distracting background. Be interested to know thoughts of others

The original one!

These are both absolutely stunning! How did you manage to get them both posing so beautifully?! In the second image, I would crop a little of the vegetation from the top and possibly left. I'm sure this is an image you (and many others) will be coming back to in the years ahead.

Beautiful! I prefer the first, the simplicity allows you to feel the emotion more, wish it were mine.

brilliant shot, definately the first one, the less elements the more the emotional appeal in these thoughtful primate type shots, also the closer view lets you see the expressions better

Although both are good the first is a much cleaner image, I like the 2nd but its a shame about the oof leaves on the LH side-One of the nicer Macque shots i have seen

No. 1, what a beauty in every way: light, pose, expression, tree, composition and a bg so complimentary. Just gorgeous.

Very nice Stephen. As they are I would go along with others on first post. However, if it wasn't for that bunch of oof leaves in left foreground I would prefer second probably because I really like the way the trunk / branch curves around to give thenm a frame. I cannot see any way to crop it other than the tight portrait but if those leaves could be cloned out effectively then I think you have two cracking shots.

Hi Stephen,

Beautiful image! Both are lovely images! But I do prefer the Full frame one (the second!). I really like the environment!
