I am fairly new to nature photography and would like to start selling my images. I work for a commercial studio as a rep and manager and we do have a large format Epson printer. However I feel like it would be easier to just outsource my work so it comes back printed, packaged and ready to go.Plus it the color would stay more consistent, seeing we have different freelance assistants who come in to print. Can anyone recommend a print vendor. I live in Boston.
Though not in your neck of the woods, West Coast Imaging does excellent work from either your digital files, or, if you shoot film, prints from scans. Their service is excellent and they are really nice folks to work with.
I've used West Coast a couple of times and they seem to be great. The other common one I've heard on here is White House Custom Color, but I've never used it.
Also there are a slew of slightly less professional ones that can still give you great results, particularly Winkflash and MPix. They won't have as many paper/printer options and might not be as customizable or have as much personal interaction; But they're high quality, and likely cheaper.
