The Loons are back!
Ice out finally happened in central Minnesota! And we get excited about our Loons. Again I have two pairs of Common Loons to photograph on the connected lakes I live on. This photo is from my first 2008 pontoon boat voyage. More to come.

I like the wing spread shot. Looks like the loon is happy to be back too. They look like an interesting bird to work with.
