Pretty scene, Tim. What were the horses looking at?

The horses were looking at the oncoming car that was about to run over me - I was standing in the middle of the highway...(I forgot where I was standing for a moment - don't normally have to worry about speeding cars where I work in the woods...)

That's probably another rule broken ... standing in the middle of a highway making images! I'm really enjoying your new body of work Tim. Thanks for sharing.

If you are talking about the old wooden barns, you are correct - they are falling down like crazy around here and being replaced with ugly metal ones. I've been working on a new picture book about Arkansas barns but don't know if I will ever get it completed. One of my workshop students (from Minnesota) has been photographing every single old barn in her county - she has shot over 2,000 of them so far - they have some really nice old barns up there for sure, and they seem to take better care of them. She told me the other day that she now "only" has less than 600 more barns to photograph!
