Damselfly Exuvia
A bit of a strange shot that may not be to everyone's (anyone's? ) tastes. I quite like it for some reason. It's the exuvia, or shed skin, of a newly emerged Large Red Damselfly with some nearby yellow gorse in the background.

Canon 30D with MPE-65 macro lens.

f16, 1/160 sec, ISO 100, diffused Speedlight on off-camera bracket, handheld.

All C+C appreciated.

Very 'Alien' Cool image though-Not easy to find and the background colour sets it apart from the norm

What's wrong with strange shots? I like it. Nice BG so the subject jumps out of it.
Well done.
