Saturday afternoon I did a little exploring along Hurricane Creek, and on towards evening as I headed back to the car took a few minutes to get some shots of this little drop in the creek.

Very nice shot of a very nice location. It looks like a person could spend a few hours shooting just in that one spot on the creek.

Randy, a beautiful comp. I really like the color varitions in the water. I keep saying this but you all have got it good in Arkansas ... so many fantastic locations for shooting. Nice work!

Randy great shot and great location. There is nothing like this time of year. I really like the light you have captured.

Nice work, Randy. In addition to the light that others have already mentioned, I really like the gracefully-draping limbs in the top left part of the frame. They seem to be reaching down for a big drink of that beautiful blue-green water.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. I do wish I could have spent more time here, but I still had a good hike ahead of me to get back to the car by dark. It's a place I hope I've not seen the last of.
