Follow this link for details to purchase a HP Z3100 24in printer for $1518.00, less than half price. This is a special offer from HP and is avail in Canada only (For now, anyways).
For what its worth I used HP's "Live Chat" and asked a few questions about this pricing. According to the Live Chat person:
1.) This is not an HP sponsored pricing event. She told me that retailers can sell the printers for any price they want.
2.) I asked if this was an attempt to reduce inventories due to the imminent release of a new printer--the answer was NO.
I'm on the fence on this one. From the print samples I've seen the HP is far superior to Epson on glossy media. At half price I'd probably plop down the cash. Guess I need to move to the Great White North, Eh?
