Sedge Warbler - in full voice
Hi to all,

Another Sedge Warbler , photographed at Salthouse earlier this week , this chap proved to be quite a difficult subject , no matter how long I waited he just wouldn't show himself completely , this is the best of a considerable bunch of shots , thanks for looking.

Converted in DPP / Processed in CS2 (Cropped)

Canon 1D3 , 500F4IS+1.4T/c , Bean-bag on car roof.
1/1000th @ F11 -1/3rd E/comp iso320 RAW

Regards

Andy...

Hi Lewis , I had a very nice time but due to an illness in the family I had to cut short my trip.

I visited the usual places , Salthouse , Titchwell , Cley and Snettisham , I had planned to go to Lakenheath for the Hobby's and Golden Orioles but with the trip cut short I didn't have the time.

I also found a superb spot for Barn Owl but only managed one visit very early one morning , I was shooting at iso1000 which is something i've never had to do before , the shots aren't great but their my first BO shots so i'm quite pleased with them , sorry I didn't have time to give you a ring , i'll be going back in June for those Barn Owls thats for sure.

Cheers mate

Another target bird for me this year. They are certainly loud when they are chirruping away. Nice shot Andy

Yes, I got frustrated chasing these a few days ago - I think you did very well to get him out this far and catch him singing.

Hi Andy,

Great singing pose! Love that subtle glint in his eye! Superb exposure!

Nice image Andrew. It seems bramble batches are good for small birds. I like the composition and the thorns add to the image.
