Old car close up
An old slant back power glide chevy covered in mold and rust. The window was partially down so i focused away from the straight edge of it and got this. Your comments and critiques are appreciated. Cliff

That's a cool shot, Cliff - enough algae to qualify as a nature scene, too! Well composed - I like the polished handle as the focal point. It poses the question of whether this door still gets opened (presumably to let the chickens out). But were you tempted to write "wash me" in the window...?

Cliff,

It may be a bit out of place for a nature form, but I really like this image. Great composition, great exposure, extremely well done.

I looked at this a few times this afternoon, and like it more and more with each view.. I really like the colors and textures in this, amongst the familiar curves and fixtures, like the door handle..

Love this, its like a chia pet from Detroit. Seriously, I do like the forms and colors a lot.

Wonderful composition on this old car Cliff. I almost wonder what it would look like with a bit more saturation and contrast.

That is so cool, Cliff! Nature reclaiming a bit of man made steel. Love the color and texture and the way you selected the area for the comp. It includes just enough familiarity of lines and curves, the doorhandle being a great pof and then the essence of reclamation.

Wow, I probably would never have thought of this photo had I been there. I like it a lot! Nice comp, color, and contrast.

That is a great shot! I love how you've combined man and nature into an artistic study of algae. No - it's not exactly pure nature, but it definitely fits here in my book. I guess it depends on just how thick the algae is? Nancy

Nancy, how thick the algae is is a good one!
